Amy is a qualified psychotherapist at The Ashgrove Clinic in Higham Ferrers.

Like many, my path hasn’t been a straight line—it’s been full of turns, challenges, and unexpected chapters. I’ve spent over seven years in university training to become a psychotherapist, but some of my most powerful lessons have come outside the classroom: learning to live without children, rebuilding after trauma, and taking a leap of faith by selling everything and moving abroad. I know what it’s like to start over. I know what it means to face patterns that quietly shape us—and choose to break them.

Alongside my lived experience, I’ve built a thriving private practice, specializing in trauma and personal development. My work is rooted in developmental psychology, CBT, and psychodynamic therapy. This blend allows me to meet you where you are—whether you’re navigating high-functioning anxiety, long-standing relational patterns, or simply sensing that you’re meant for more.

I believe therapy isn’t just about symptom relief—it’s about real, lasting change. It’s about tracing the patterns that hold you back and learning how to move beyond them with awareness and intention.

I bring a grounded, human approach to our work together. No jargon. No one-size-fits-all. Just a real connection and a tailored process that honors your story while helping you rewrite it.

If you’re feeling stuck—or just ready to grow—I’m here to help you turn the page.
