
Nicola is a mindfulness trainer at Ashgrove Health Clinic in Higham Ferrers. She guides individuals through practices that enhance emotional balance, reduce stress, and build resilience through greater awareness and calm.
Nicola is a BABCP accredited cognitive behavioural (CBT) therapist and a registered EMDR therapist.
At the clinic she provides Mindfulness training and runs the only Mindfulness courses in Rushden and Earls Barton.
Nicola has over 20 years’ experience working in healthcare, including working in hospital, private clinic and university settings. Her Mindfulness training was with the University of Bangor’s Centre for Mindfulness Research and Practice, one of the UK’s leading centres in Mindfulness training.
She has taught Mindfulness both individually, and in groups, to university students and staff, school staff and the general public. Her main interest when running these courses is to help people change their habits and develop ways to avoid getting caught up in old worries and concerns.
