Emma graduated from the British College of Osteopathic Medicine in 2007 with a BSc Ost Med and a diploma in Naturopathy.
Since qualifying Emma has also obtained an MSc in Clinical Biomechanics. Plus, she has completed studies in Clinical Anatomy and Functional and Pilates-based Rehabilitation
The Masters degree in Clinical Biomechanics involved an in-depth observation and assessment of gait analysis and lower limb function. The aim was to see the effects of how we walk on the rest of body.
So, mixing her knowledge about rehab, sports injuries, gait analysis and anatomy Emma you’d think Emma only treats athletes, but like the rest of our rehab team, she loves working with injuries of any sort. From falls to arthritic pains.
Outside of the clinic Emma’s world is more musical than anatomical as she plays guitar and sings. She is also a gardener and can often found on her allotment knee deep in carrots and sprouting broccoli.
Do ask: What are you planting this weekend?
Don’t ask: Sing a little bit of something while you’re treating me. She cannot multitask in this way!
