Medical Herbalist
Lydia graduated from the University of Westminster’s BSc Herbal Medicine programme with first class honours.
She loves the detective work involved when trying to find the root cause of health issues, and describes her practise as a fusion of traditional herbal knowledge and the modern, scientific understanding of herbs.
She is a member of the College of Practitioners of Phytotherapy (Phytotherapy is the modern practice of herbal medicine) and attends continuing professional development seminars throughout the year.
Lydia says: “Herbal medicines are suitable for all the family – including infants and the elderly – and can be helpful for many of the conditions that you would visit your GP.”
When Lydia isn’t reading about health and herbal medicine, she can be found listening to music or doing yoga.
Do ask: What music have you been listening to lately?
Don’t ask: Would you like to meet for a 5am run?
